Education Volunteering @ Kramden

Posted By Ryan Kane

The Raleigh Midtown Rotary Club took an evening in late September to try our hand at refurbishing computers for a great cause.  We joined up with the Kramden Institute in RTP, whose mission is to “provide technology tools and training to bridge the digital divide.”  With the help of volunteers, Kramden has donated 21,000 computers to deserving students in need, since 2003.  It was a privilege to help this cause and not only did we get to clean and rebuild computers, we got to tear a few apart for recycling, too.
